matcha-meal cookies
Oatmeal cookies never tasted so good! Let’s elevate the oatmeal cookie game with these matcha-filled bites of goodness. Each cookie is infused with the strong taste of matcha green tea, mellowed out with vegan white chocolate.
Ingredients
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups oats, coarsely grounded
1 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp matcha powder
1/3 cup white chocolate chunks
Directions
Line baking sheet with silicone baking mat.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients together to formed a coarse dough.
Using your hands, mold pieces of dough into your desired shapes and size, being sure to keep the cookies 1/2 inch thick. Place cookies on baking sheet 1 inch apart from each other. Transfer baking sheet to refrigerator to chill and set dough for 30 to 40 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F. When ready, transfer baking sheet to oven and bake cookies for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
