crispy chickpeas
Where all our chickpea fans at?
Did you know that chickpeas are a great source of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and protein? They’re a great alternative for meat in vegan and vegetarian diets. The best part? They’re inexpensive and easy to incorporate into your diet because there are so many ways to eat them!
Check out one of my baked chickpea recipes. This recipe can actually be used with any spices that get your taste buds going ;) I usually use the recipe below, but you can experiment with any of the spices in your cabinet.
PS – is it too much to let you know that I am currently eating these while writing this blog post? Enjoy!!
Ingredients
2 cups of chickpeas
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Rinse chickpeas in a colander.
In a medium sized bowl, mix chickpeas with olive oil, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Allow to cool for 10 minutes and enjoy!
