spicy lotus root chips (air fryer)

Not your average chip, and boy does it taste YUMMY!

I use an Instant Pot Duo Crisp, but you can use any air-fryer for these chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lotus root, very thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

  • 1/4 cup chili crisp

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat air-fryer to 375°F. In a bowl, toss lotus root slices with avocado oil. Place slices in a single layer in the air-fryer basket. Air-fry for 7 minutes, flipping the slices midway into cooking time. Chips should be crispy and browned.

  2. Combine chili crisp and soy sauce in a small bowl. Once chips are done, dip into sauce mixture to lightly coat each chip. Enjoy!
