cilantro + lime hummus
Another delicious hummus recipe that you won't find in the grocery store!
I had half a sack of limes let over after making Tom Yum soup and guacamole the other day, so I decided to incorporate limes into my hummus instead of using lemons. The result was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Ingredients
1 cup fully cooked chickpeas
1 tbsp tahini
1/2 cup cilantro, coarsely chopped
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup lime juice
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp water (add in increments to adjust texture)
Directions
Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Add the water a few drops at a time to adjust the texture.
